We recently received planning permission for a new extension and porch and internal alterations to this cottage in Aberdeenshire. The cottage is of significant historical importance, being in the curtilage of a Category A listed house and Inventory Gardens. The cottage is of indeterminate date, but is most likely to be 18th Century, built to service the main house. For many years it has been used for holiday makers, but now it is going to return to be a dwelling for the owner. The work will require a substantial overhaul of the interior as well as the extensions.
