Refurbished Apartment, West End, Glasgow

This Glasgow Flat was bought by the Clients from the University of Glasgow who operated the property as a hall of residence. The flat, with its gloss magnolia walls and blue square carpet tiles in each room, had lost all its original dignity and charm. Harford-Cross Architects were able to fully re-design the whole flat with structural alterations to reorganise the layout and a full refurbishment of the interior. The kitchen, previously located in a small back room, was re-located to one of the two generously proportioned front rooms. This allowed the bathroom to be relocated and a laundry room fitted off the kitchen with storage deck above. A new en-suite bathroom was added to the master bedroom. Harford-Cross Architects specified all interior finishes and fittings.
